Key to Cocktail Ratings
Our cocktail collection
is divided into two categories: hot weather and cold weather beverages.
Each category has four degrees of strength, inspired by a natural event
or pastime that is common in that region.
Tropical Drinks

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY No alcohol. This flag is flown to alert mariners
to sustained weather or sea conditions, either present or forecast.
GALE WARNING One alcoholic ingredient. Indicates wind in the range
of 34 to 47 knots are forecast for the area; in tropical cyclones 34 to
63 knots.
STORM WARNING Two alcoholic ingredients. Indicates winds 48 knots
and above, no matter how high the speed, are forecast for the area.

HURRICANE WARNING Three or more alcoholic ingredients. Issued only
in connection with a tropical cyclone (hurricane) to indicate that winds
64 knots and above are forecast for the area.
Apres Ski Drinks
NO ALCOHOL Denotes a slope for beginners, usually with a gently
incline and easy conditions. Fun for kids of all ages.
INTERMEDIATE
One alcoholic ingredient. The intermediate hill can be challenging, but
it is usually well-groomed and wide. The drink is enough to warm your
soul.
ADVANCED
Two alcoholic ingredients. The first level of "black" slope
isn't something to be toyed around with. Here you can encounter difficult
terrain like moguls, precipitous inclines and ice.
EXPERT
Three or more alcoholic ingredients. Talk about steep and deep! The expert
slope is a nearly-vertical wall of snow. Don't try this at home kids.
