Miss Cocktail's Manhattan Q:How do I mix a Manhattan? During our recent visit to the US I had the drink on various occasions and I just loved it. On your Web site I could not find it. It is too common. Everybody knows how to mix it. But I live in Curaçao, a Dutch island in the Caribbean, and we do not know much about cocktails, apart from the sweet ones like Daiquiri and Pina Colada and so on. Thank you for enlightening me. -- H. Vuurmans A:Thanks
for your question. I have to tell you that I visited Curaçao and loved
it. While in Willemstad I tasted quite a few new cocktails, but you're
right -- they were mostly sweet frozen drinks. The Manhattan is much simpler,
and doesn't mask the natural flavor of the ingredients.
