Blackberry Warmer

1 lemon
2 whole cloves
1 tsp ground ginger
16 oz water

oz white dinner wine, heated
12 oz blackberry brandy

Grate rind of lemon, add to cloves, ginger and water in a large sauce pan. Squeeze juice of lemon into sauce pan and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add wine and brandy. Serve hot in stemmed mugs. (Makes 16 servings).
