Brilliant Burgundy

2 750 ml bottles sparkling burgundy
1 750 ml bottle white dinner wine
6 whole cloves
4 cinnamon sticks
1 lemon
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
ice block

In a saucepan combine white wine, cloves, cinnamon. Squeeze in lemon juice then add rest of lemon. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and cool. Place ice in punch bowl. Pour in spice mixture, burgundy and juices. Stir gently and ladle into punch glasses. (Makes 25 servings).
