I have been making Cranberry Margaritas for Thanksgiving for years. I can't claim to have created this recipe and truly do not know from where it originated. If nothing else you should make them ... they're delicious!

My best story about this drink comes from the first time we made it. My husband and I were living in Anchorage, Alaska. As you can imagine Thanksgiving in Anchorage is pretty cold ... and our guests thought we were crazy to serve margaritas before Thanksgiving dinner. However, since I'm from Arizona and he's from Texas they cut us some slack and once they started sipping these jewel toned frozen drinks they were hooked. We kept the blender going that night, gathered around the fireplace and savored our Southwestern twist on a traditional Thanksgiving celebration.
