1960s International Cocktail

2 oz gin
 1/4 oz French (dry) vermouth
1/4 oz Absinthe (Pernod)

In a chilled cocktail glass swirl vermouth. In a mixing glass filled with ice combine gin and absinthe. Stir gently and strain into cocktail glass. Decorate with a twist of lime peel.
