Concentrated Simple Syrup Mix


16 oz sugar
16 oz water

 Combine water and sugar in small saucepan over moderate heat. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a simmer; do not boil. Continue stirring until the sugar dissolves and the syrup is clear, three to six minutes. Let syrup stand to cool.
