Negroni


1 oz gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth

Mix ingredients and serve over ice in an Old Fashion glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon. Vodka can be substituted for gin.

History: It was invented in Florence at Casoni Bar (20s) because Camillo Negroni, an Italian count, asked continuously to his favorite bartender, Scarselli, a fortified Americano with gin.
